justsusan > This is in the tunnel from the ferry terminal to the little town of Holyhead. David is making that face because this was the worst day of our trip. After flooded roads and detours, just barely making the train from Crewe, we finally arrived in Holyhead just in time to hop the ferry at 2:30pm, but the boat had been canceled due to rough seas. The next ferry would leave at 2:30AM!!! We had a decent dinner in town, but had to wait the rest of the 12 hours in the metal seats in the ferry terminal. A gale force wind and rain had discouraged any outdoor waiting. I'm not even going to tell you about the ferry ride, but let it suffice to say there were barf bags aplenty placed on tables throughout the ferry. Regulars on this trip were quick to nab the places where one could lie down.
