We purchased three goslings two weeks ago with the idea of releasing them at the Placerville property to eat the weeds. Aren't they cute?
When they are hatched, they are marked on their heads with a red spot (female) or blue spot (male).
I named the adventurous smart one Mabel. She's plain, but she found the food first and ate weeds first. The pretty female is Lucy who still can't find her way out of the cage, and the male is Bob.
